Regarding minors and jobs..?

Hi. I must first clarify that I am in fact sixteen, and I’ve been looking on the internet for a while now trying to find ways to make money. I’ve come across tons of different things, but there’s one that caught my interest; and that’s affiliate marketing.

It is a potential gold mine, because not only is the money just sitting there waiting to be taken, just for advertising someone elses product, but it’s so effortless. I don’t know much about HTML, but I’ve come across a program called “wysiwyg web builder” and it truly works miracles. It stands for “What you see is what you get”. And that could not be more true.

I’ve learned a lot of these little tips through the “Rich Jerk”, who is rude and concieted, but more honest than any other “guru” out there. He has an ebook, which is near perfect..

But all this boils down to one thing, can I do anything with all this considering that I’m a minor? I cannot even open a normal bank account yet. It’s infuriating!

Cindy, you may question the validity of this, but the truth is thousands of people make money this way.

No one here is saying that it’s easy or fast, though if you do it well, the effort you put in pays off much better than any ordinary job.

I do not and never will suffer through school. It’s an absurd waste of my mental capacity, and I feel sorry for anyone who is there by force.

does raising money for charity count as non-commercial under “creative commons” license?

I’ve been writing a blog for a while that combines images from Flickr which are licensed under creative commons (non-commercial) with select quotes. After several requests, I’m now considering turning it into a book of sorts, via Lulu.com.

Because of the license terms and spirit of what I’m doing, I’m not looking to make any money from this personally. However, it seems it could be a good opportunity to help a charity.

Would it be allowable under the terms of the creative commons license for me to charge say $1-2 extra on top of the cost from Lulu for printing/shipping, with the full extra amount going to a nominated charity?

I’ve been running ads on Google Adwords for a while alr. I’m not looking for fast money or anything, and I dun ask for much. I get clicks on my ads, but there doesn’t seem to be anyone buying the product. I make use of broad phrase, exact phrase, match phrase, and negative phrases as well. Does anyone have any advice for how to better improve so that my clicks get paid off?

Would you use eBay or a consignment shop for girls’ clothing?

Several years ago I sold items on eBay, including my daughter’s gently worn clothing, and made a lot of “fun money.” I’ve also sold some of her things to consignment shops in the past — so I’m familiar with both processes, but it’s a been a while.

I currently have approximately 6 huge lots of clothing (about 30-40 pieces each), separated by season and size. All clothes are name-brand and in excellent condition.

Where do you think I could make the most profit?

Anyone know of an online game where you create your own video game company?

I had downloaded a game online a while back in which you can create your own video game company and create the games that are made under that company. The game starts off around the beginning of video game consoles and you name your own console and name a game you want to make with the money you have. It really simulated the gaming industry to a high extent. Not too long ago, i bought a new computer and i can’t find the website that featured the online game. If anyone knows what I am talking about, please respond.

I need money!?

My company just got sold out. We are downsizing and for some reason I get this looming feeling I may be fired or laid off. I have some money to live off for a while if that’s the case. I just pay rent & utlilities- no kids. I have been looking everywhere to find a comparable job but really there are NONE out there! Does anyone know of any quick ways to make lots of money (Pls. no stupid answers like drug dealing, pimping.. ect). Whether it be donating an egg, poker online… ???

What can I do to my truck to make it sound better?

I have a 1994 Ford Ranger with a 4.0L v6 and I want to make it louder, but my dad says that it will probably sound more like a rice racer than anything else. I doubt that, and I have been looking on the internet for a while now and every where I go there’s a forum with all these people speaking in what seems like a foreign language. I just want an answer in plain English. I don’t have a lot of money to work with as I just bought a 28″ snow blower and there hasn’t been a damn inch of snow.
If anyone could direct me to some recordings of what my truck might sound like with some of the suggested modifications it would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a sin to be rich?

Well, maybe not a sin, but Jesus taught us to be humble. But sometimes I really worry. It is taught that it is no importance of what clothes you wear, what to eat or drink. That life is so much more. And that it is hard for a rich man find the Kingdom of Heaven. When I buy things that I like, for example, decorations in my room, video games (which I probably will sell soon), cute clothes, etc. Am I neglecting God’s message? Is it wrong to work hard sometimes just for material things? What if you buy nice material things for other people? Like when I’m a mother, is it wrong to spoil my child once in a while? Should I be allowing myself not much, and give more to the homeless and hungry? Or is it ok to buy materials things for fun once in a while, and still give some money to charity? I’m only 17 right now, but I like art and pretty clothes, I like spending money on things like Prom. I don’t feel I go too overboard, compared to some others… but does that make it right? WWJD?
Have you ever seen Jesus of Nazerath? In the movie Jesus tells them to sell everything they own. How would you justify that today. If I got into a career like fashion or a room decorator, is that wrong? (No offense to those in that field, because I think it helps make ppl happy) But I’m just asking for me.. I still can plan out my career.
