Do I have to give my products away to get people to visit my web store?

I’ve tried marketing both online and off for years.I hear about people making a good living selling online. I’ve tried the :Affiliated Programs” with no success. I’ve offered prces below wholesale on occasion but I still get very little hits and little sale.

I’ve tried giving some products practically away. Still my hits are low. I’ve tried some email and search engine marketing with little success.

II am not one to give up. I have recently opened a brand new online store. If anyone out there have used a proven marketing concept that is reasonable in cost and is getting a lot of online visitors come to their web store as a result and is having a tremendous success, please be kind enough to share your secrets with me. I would really appreciate it.

i had actually come across a web site which said der is no need of any initial investment..but still one could make money sittin at home…according to it ,one has to regester them selves n login …the work they have to do is to fill in some forms..which will be provoded..and we will be paid according to the no of forms we fill…wot i want to know is ,is such type of money makin safe??n will der be any problems i will have to face once i regester my self??as the offer is temptin ..n i’ve got holidays i ws lookin forward to regester my self….please any one with an idea on such sites let me knowl…

I’ve been reading up on how to do this, But there is so much that I don’t have a clue as to where to begin, what are the most important things to learn first? Where do I begin on finding the job? Am I advertising/selling for a company? I really don’t understand but very willing to learn. Please help I’m about to pull my hair out and in-need of a little more sleep. Is there someone I can call? or a web address that has live support for this kind of job? I Did not know there was so many different types of articles on this job. Online Marketing Title and Salary?

Hi everyone, at my last job I did not officially have a title. I am looking to look for a new job soon. Basically I did some Pay Per Click bidding using Adwords, I did hands on SEO, I also coordinate with the graphics designer to design newsletter and send it out to my list, and also start up an affiliate program. Also did some analytics reporting. I am not sure what title I should use on my resume. In addition, I will have my web analytics certification from the Web Analytics Association. What type of salary should I get? I’m in Manhattan.

I have a PHP web site that I wrote. It uses Authorize.net to process payment. I want to start an affiliate program but I don’t know how… There are plenty of scripts, should I use one of these? If so, which one?
