Working with Family?
I work in a family owned business for the 8 years. Business is going well, profitable, and we both make good money. However, it has been no picnic, and we have had our ups and downs, both as a company and as a family. Im now at the stage, where, I starting to think one of us needs to go. We seem to be disagreeing more and more on work related issues. I also feel I want a change in career. Im supposed to be my own Boss…..I havent taken a vacation in year and dont have as much say in the business as I should. I would be confident in saying that the companies success is due to both our efforts. If I left I dont think my father would ever forgive me. Im mid thirties, with a young family and dont want to waste my life away in an office. If I left and sold up everything, I could walk away very comfortably.The problem is I dont have a clue what I would do, career wise. When you run your own business, employers are always weary of hiring you because you are used to doing it your own way.

50/50draws for charity?
how hard is it to get a license to create a 50/50 draw for charity? I wanna make it huge…get highschool kids selling tickets (they can use their time selling as part of required community servive hours) half the money to the winner, half to the charity…or groups of charities chosen. I think its an easy way to make a big difference? (ive never been one to hand out food at a soup kitchen, my timnes valuable…I wanna make a real difference) (i live in Ontario Canada, all those reading feel free to steal the idea, mabey well do some good?)
or better yet, convince gas stations/tim hortons to sell them at counters

Do you think internet advertising is getting out of hand?
I know most sites use this to make money to keep their sites up and running, and to also allow free content. However I can’t help but notice an increase in the number of ads you see on a site, and how they are in unnecessary spots. For example, when you goto to some sites to watch videos, a 15-30 second ad plays before. Now I’m not saying I’m impatient or anything but when you want to watch a video, you want to see the video and only the video. Plus when you watch numerous ones, do you really want to see the same four ads over and over? It may not be a big deal now, but in the future this may get out of hand. Do you think these types of ads even work? I’d like to hear from both sides of the agruement as to good reasons or bad reasons to internet advertising. Thanks in advance!

i was looking around on an abercrombie website and i found this hoodie i liked.. well its $60 and my mom just baught me a $100 hollister jacket, which is already my christmas gift. my mom is pissed that all these clothing stores are expensive
i know i know abercrombie is very expensive and its such a cute hoodie. if i tell my mom that i want it and if i do chores to get the money she will get mad because she says the only time you say that is if u want something…
