The guys at 303 helped us throw a comp at the fun Commerce City Skatepark. The rain found us there too, so we waited it out in the parking lot for over 2 hours. The patience paid off and the show went on! Denver is home of 2-time defending HH Finals champ Julian Christianson, this guy is a machine and lands way too many insane tricks in a short 20 minute sesh to list. Back to the home of HH, and it was a great way to kick of the summer at Wilson Skatepark with an old-fashioned skate jam. Live DJs courtesy of Affiliate Skateboards, an Ipath demo courtesy of Uprise Skateshop, and a few hundred free burritos courtesy of our friends at Chipotle were great, but the loud huddled masses around the 8-stair was the highlight of the day. Previous HH winner, Kevin Erst took first again with his effortless style both down the set and the hubbas. Emmet Duffy landed tough flip tricks and landing bolts most of the time to take second, while Ozzy rounded out the top 3.
